Jasmine and Ben's Intimate Wedding at the Cragwood Country House

As a Lake District Wedding Photographer I absolutely love driving into the Lakes to document a wedding, especially when it's a wedding that's every bit as wonderful as this one! I'm thrilled to share some amazing memories from my recent trip back to the stunning Cragwood Country House and Hotel in Windermere, where I had the pleasure of photographing Jasmine and Ben's small intimate wedding.

Despite the weather forecast predicting dark clouds all day with the odd threat of liquid sunshine, Jasmine and Ben were determined to have their ceremony outside in the beautiful gardens at 1 pm. As we approached the all-important moment, a random shower of rain popped up on the forecast for exactly 1 pm! You couldn’t make it up!


Thanks to the incredible efforts of the Registrars and Manager, Stacey, everyone pulled together to make Jasmine and Ben's dream a reality. The ceremony went ahead outside as planned, leaving just enough time for this lovely couple to tie the knot before the heavens opened to sprinkle a few drops of rain to make that knot tighter! Officiating the ceremony was the legendary Sean Onions, who injected his usual trademark humour into the proceedings, and made sure that every angle was just right for photography. A big thanks Sean, it’s very much appreciated!

Jasmine and Ben had written their own vows, which were not only beautiful but also incredibly moving and left not a dry eye in the house, as Sean rightly said.

I'm so grateful to have been a part of such a special day, and I wish Jasmine and Ben all the love and happiness in the world as they embark on this new chapter together. Here's a sneak peek of some of the photos capturing their beautiful moments.
