What an absolutely amazing time we had this Saturday. Scott and Angela 'raced' through their vows at The Halston Hotel in Carlisle! As a Lake District wedding photographer, it’s always great to travel across Cumbria and the North West to capture weddings like this.


When Angela contacted me last year, she said...'Scott owns a garage and we're into our cars....we'd like a fast and furious style wedding!' There were lots of amazing plans to visit Carlisle castle, Carlisle airport, convoy up the motorway, have the newlyweds stand in the tyre smoke of a burnout and so much more! All of these plans looked and sounded amazing but alas when we looked at the schedule, there were just not enough hours in the day to make it happen! With this in mind, we settled for a less busy wedding schedule, with a plan for Scott and Angela to get their 'wedding gear' on again and for us to meet up at a later date when time isn't so much of a constraint. I'm definitely looking forward to that!
