An Unforgettable, Magical 3 Days with Bendrigg Trust and CPISRA
As a Lake District wedding photographer, most of my work revolves around weddings, so it’s always refreshing to take on something a little different.
A little while ago, I had the pleasure and the privilege of spending three days documenting CPISRA - Cerebral Palsy International Sports and Recreation Association group visit to Bendrigg Trust. This adventure-filled week included climbing, cycling, tube sliding, canoeing, and more! On the final day, the group had a celebratory campfire evening and certificate presentation where they toasted marshmallows, drank hot chocolate and reminisced over the week’s achievements. Just magical!
It’s fair to say that having made some incredible memories of my own, and experiencing the magic of Bendrigg Trust, I was really sad for it to all come to an end! A huge thanks go to Claire from CPISRA, and to Martha and all of the amazing staff at Bendrigg for making me feel so incredibly welcome! This is most definitely up there with one of my all-time favourite experiences, and I look forward to returning, in hopefully the not too distant future. For now though, here’s a tiny handful of some of my favourite memories from the trip.
Alongside my commercial work, I also work as a Lake District wedding photographer, capturing weddings across Cumbria and the wider region. If you're looking for a commercial photographer in the Lake District, I’d love to hear more about your project.
