I think it's fair to say that as a Lake District wedding photographer, I have the very best job in the world and I won't ever take that for granted! This year, I have met some of the most amazing people ever, eaten like a king, danced like an idiot and got away with it, shared and witnessed some of the most beautiful and intimate moments, and made some of the most incredible memories! I've been fortunate to have been nominated for County Bride's North West Wedding Photographer of the Year, upgraded all my cameras to mirrorless, filmed much more than usual, made so many new friends and as always, learnt so much! What an amazing year! An absolutely massive thank you to each and every one of you who has been a part of it! Since the beginning of January, I've produced just over 100,000 photos for local businesses, organisations, sporting events and couples up and down the country. Below I've included a handful (ok maybe a little more than a handful!) of my favourite wedding and engagement photos from 2022 (please be patient, they may take some time to load!).

Finally, as we make way for 2023, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the very best for a happy, prosperous and peaceful year ahead! Here’s to another year full of joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Happy New Year!

If you've got this far then well done, and thank you for taking the time to look through my 2022! I'm now taking bookings for 2023/2024 and my 2024/2025 diary is open.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

My ambitions for 2023

Eat less cake

Yes you can have too much cake! It's a wedding photographer's nemesis!

Make more films

I love filming, if you've a story you want to bring to life, get in touch!

Photograph more weddings with castles

I definitely need more castles in my life!

Learn to say no

My biggest weakness! Sometimes I just can't say no, and I need to spend more time with my family so next year I'm going to be a little more careful about squeezing that wedding in over the birthday weekend! Yes I did this, oops!
