A Small Wedding at Lindeth Howe

Nicola and Matt’s wedding at the beautiful Lindeth Howe was a real pleasure to photograph. The whole day had a relaxed, intimate feel with plenty of laughter, love and genuine warmth from start to finish.

Over the years, I've worked extensively as a wedding photographer based in the Lake District, and I always enjoy coming back to Lindeth Howe. It has such a welcoming atmosphere and the team there always make it feel like home. John and the staff were brilliant as always, and he had a real soft spot for Nicola and Matt, and it is easy to see why.


These two are genuinely some of the kindest people you could meet, and it was clear from the start just how perfectly suited they are. Every look, every small gesture between them said so much about the connection they share.


I spent a few hours with them capturing their story, from quiet moments together to laughter shared with close family and friends. It was one of those days that reminds me exactly why I do what I do.
