If you happen to be looking for an amazing venue, the Gilpin Hotel & Lake House is a brilliant option. You'd be hard-pressed to find anywhere that offers the same level of intimacy combined with beautiful scenery and attention to detail. I’ve worked here many times as both a proposal and wedding photographer, and it’s always an absolute pleasure to return. The setting is intimate and very well-suited to capturing those special moments, whether it be a private lakeside proposal or a wedding celebration at the Lake House.

The staff are professional and accommodating, ensuring that the day runs extremely smoothly for everyone involved. It would be remiss of me not to say that this is one of my absolute favourite places to work - the sun hits the lake in the perfect location for epic backlit photos, there's a boat so you can get some different photos, the grounds are gorgeous! I’d highly recommend it for anyone planning a special occasion who is just that little bit more discerning than most.
