Sharing Your Photos - A Guide for Couples
Congratulations on receiving your wedding gallery! I hope you’ll enjoy reliving every moment. To protect your privacy and ensure that your images are used respectfully, please take a moment to read this short guide before sharing your photos with others.
Personal use only
Your online gallery is provided for you and your family’s personal enjoyment. Feel free to download, print and share the images with your loved ones. However, please do not send the gallery link to suppliers or other businesses. The photographs are protected by copyright, and supplying them to vendors without my knowledge can lead to misuse or poor crediting.
When suppliers ask for images
During the planning process you may be contacted by florists, cake makers, venues or other suppliers who would like to feature photos of their work. I’m always happy to share images with them – it helps their businesses and mine – but the process must go through me.
If a supplier asks you for photos, please do one of the following:
- Direct them to me: Give them my email address (enquiries@markbattistaphotography.co.uk) or send them a link to my Using My Images page. I’ll provide them with web‑optimised files and explain how to credit the images properly.
- Ask me to help: Let me know which supplier has been in touch and I can reach out on your behalf.
By keeping me involved, you ensure that your images are shared in the best possible quality and with the correct usage guidelines.
Why it matters
- Quality control: I supply web‑sized files that look their best online. Screenshots or social media downloads can look pixelated or distorted.
- Credit and backlinks: When suppliers link back to my website, it helps my business grow. Proper credit means more future bookings and allows me to keep doing what I love.
- Respect for your privacy: Some moments are personal. By controlling which images go out to vendors, we can avoid sharing anything you might prefer to keep private.
Thank you
I genuinely appreciate your help in protecting the integrity of your images. If you have any questions about sharing your photos, please get in touch. I’m here to ensure your memories are preserved beautifully and respectfully.
