Using My Images - Guidelines for Suppliers and Vendors
If you were part of a wedding I’ve photographed and would like images, feel free to get in touch. I’m always happy to share a curated selection.
Requesting images
Rather than screenshotting images from a couple’s gallery or social media, please contact me directly.
This ensures you receive a consistent selection that’s properly edited and optimised for your website and socials.
You may receive access to the preview gallery but please allow around six to eight weeks after the wedding before requesting access to all images, as I need time to complete the full gallery for the couple.
Why request images directly
If you’ve been given access to a couple’s gallery, I kindly ask that you don’t screenshot images from there. Just create a favourites list in the gallery and drop me a quick message to let me know that you've done this.
When images are requested through me:
- You’ll receive files that look their best online
- I can provide a consistent edit and selection
- It ensures correct credit and linking
It also allows me to keep track of where images are being used so I can continue supporting suppliers with image sharing.
Credit and linking
I’m always happy for suppliers to share images. It’s a great way for all of us to showcase our work.
When using any images online, please include a clear credit to Mark Battista Photography with a clickable link to:
www.markbattistaphotography.co.uk
This can sit within a blog post, supplier page or image credit.
On social media, please tag @markbattistaphotography in the caption so the credit is visible.
Providing a link back helps future couples find my work and allows me to continue supplying images to suppliers after each wedding.
Image use
Images are provided free for use on your website and social media.
If you’d like to use images for print, advertising or any commercial use, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.
Edits
Please don’t apply filters or heavy edits. A light crop for layout is absolutely fine.
If you need a specific size or crop, I’m happy to provide it.
